3 Years in….

IF YOU’VE COME TO THIS PAGE TO LEARN ABOUT MY SECOND TRANSPLANT, YOU CAN VISIT
“HEARD THAT SONG BEFORE” HERE.

Howdy friends. It’s now 3 years into the pandemic. For all intent’s and purposes, most regular people act as if the pandemic is “over”. For vulnerable people like myself, it is not over yet. The vaccines failed to create enough protection due to the immune suppression I take to prevent rejection, and outcomes from Covid are complicated.

So what do I do while I shelter

*Ride or visit horses daily. I’ve worn a mask for years due to the dust so not much different

*Host a radio show called Swing Set which airs Saturdays on JAZZFM.91 (recorded at home)

*Perform lots in summertime, as outdoors are safe spaces for me. I also do a once a month online concert.

*Rent a lot of cottages to “get away from the routine”.

*Miniature models, belive it or not! Plus I’m drawing portraits again.

When I put it like that, I’m not wasting away my life, but I sure miss travel, going out dancing, singing in little jazz clubs, visiting family without all the Covid testing hassles, or just going inside a friend’s house.

We call our house “the gilded cage”. Make of that what you will. We are still blessed and grateful to my donors.
